If you received our newsletter last fall when I talked about our new buildings’ roof leaking then I have some news. It didn’t leak as the snow melted in March. We were ecstatic! That means the caulk they used will work for a little while so now we have time to apply our Belzona 3111 (Flexible Membrane) to all the areas that were caulked. Why? Because we all know caulking material will dry out, shrink and delaminate from the substrate. Why? Because caulking is heavily solvented.
With over 65 years of experience, Belzona has the solutions for these problem areas on your roof. We have engineering specifications that cover the following:
- For repairing and sealing joints and seams
- For rebuilding and sealing roof edges
- For sealing waterproof glazing sections
- For rebuilding and waterproofing glazing bars
- For re-bonding loose glazing sections
- For waterproofing gutters and standing water areas
- For sealing and waterproofing flashings
- For repairing and restoring stonework
- For sealing leaking areas in parapet walls and copings
- For repairing damaged or loose parapet walls or copings
We recently added an application focus area to our website that focuses on Roof Problem Areas. Please take some time and peruse this site and let us know your thoughts.
We have the know-how to help you solve the most frustrating maintenance issues. Tell us how we can help you repair, protect and improve your roof problem areas.
